On January 6, 2020, I found myself at the helm of the newsroom, facing the dual challenges of a short-staffed team and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these obstacles, I successfully managed to deliver a compelling newscast that showcased my skills and adaptability.

In a moment of resourcefulness, I secured a live toss to a national reporter, seamlessly integrating it into our show. To ensure a smooth transition, I meticulously planned the content flow, while tracking updates, crafting copy, selecting soundbites, designing graphics, and determining the optimal story order.

Reflecting on that night, I am incredibly proud of my ability to navigate a high-pressure situation and deliver a polished newscast. It was a testament to my dedication, problem-solving skills, and passion for journalism.
